New Residence Hall Planned for Fall ’24

In response to recent years’ booming increases in the size of the university’s incoming classes, Saint Mary will soon break ground on a new residence hall.

The new two-story structure will sit north of Berkel Memorial Stadium, between the two existing dorms (Maria and Berkel halls). It will house about 50 students in four-bedroom suites that each feature a kitchen space and living area.

In Fall 2023, due to increasing student demand, USM had to find additional off-campus housing for students. The new hall—yet to be named—will help position the university for continued growth.
