USM Launches Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Program

The University of Saint Mary added a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) Program to its suite of online graduate nursing programs.

The PMHNP degree will help meet the increasing demand for mental health services and fill gaps in psychiatric care. The program will be asynchronous with two required on-campus three-day intensives. A PMHNP postgraduate certificate will also be available for those who have already earned a Master of Science in Nursing.
