Sr. Sue Miller Honored at KC Holiday Luncheon
The Kansas City Alumni Council hosted a holiday luncheon at Grand Street Café on Sunday, Nov. 15 for alumni, friends, and their guests to celebrate the festive season, enjoy great food, and connect with one another.
This year was extra special, as the council honored one of Saint Mary’s finest: Sr. Sue Miller—former professor of home economics, department chair, academic dean, and SCL community director and council member.
Though Sr. Sue is petite in stature, her achievements are mighty and her impact on Saint Mary is great. More than 70 alumni, ranging from the 40s to 90s, came to the luncheon—all awed by her rolling list of successes.
Sr. Sue, a true inspiration and blessing to the entire USM family.
In gratitude for her dedication to Saint Mary, the KC Alumni Council made a special donation to Sr. Sue’s scholarship fund.
If you weren’t able to attend the luncheon but wish to give to the scholarship, you still can. Send your gift to Saint Mary, and write “Sr. Sue Miller scholarship” in the memo line.
