Ralph VanGoethem, friend of Saint Mary, Lee’s Summit, Mo., died Feb. 19, 2017. Ralph owned an electrical company in Kansas City and oversaw several major projects on campus. Ralph and his wife, Jeanette, who survives him, started an endowed scholarship.
