Sr. Marianna Bauder, C’70, Leavenworth, Kan., died on Jan. 21, 2019. Her biological sisters are Ellen Bauder Hustings, C’70, and Rose Marie Bauder Pettyjohn, attended. She was the daughter of Gertrude Zeugin Bauder*, A’31, C’35, M’67. Her aunts were Sr. Jeanne Marie Zeugin*, C’37, Helen Zeugin Bristow*, N’42, Antoinette Zeugin Duffin*, A’40, C’44, Margaret Zeugin Liebeno*, C’46. Her cousins are Sr. Helen “Cookie” Bristow*, C’65, Patricia Bristow Moulden, N’69, John Bristow, C’87, Jeanne Marie Duffin Hund, C’69, Eileen Duffin Willcott, C’73, Sallie Duffin McGlinn, C’75, and Sr. Mary Ellenita Uhlrich*, C’52. Sr. Marianna Bauder was a SCL for 57 years, serving as President and CEO of St. Joseph’s Hospital in Denver, Colo., and former member of the SCL Community Council.
