The achievements of the University of Saint Mary are a testament to all those who believe in our students and the liberating power of a Saint Mary education. We are here to create the leaders of tomorrow, and it is your commitment to our mission and the magnitude of your giving that keep Saint Mary strong.

Planting Dreams with Endowed Scholarships
Large trees adorn the landscape of Saint Mary, creating a place of splendor. Birds nest in the branches and shade blesses those below. The right tree in the right place is delightful!
The University endowment is a lot like our campus trees—rising above and adorning the financial landscape with beauty and protection.
Just like an oak tree produces acorns, the endowment produces student scholarships. It takes $25,000 to establish an endowed scholarship, and we offer a five-year payment plan, so you can plant the seed of education.
A poll by the Council of Independent Colleges ranks our endowment’s performance 3rd out of 700 colleges and universities across the country.
And like a giant oak, the endowment continues to grow—a return of 12% for fiscal year 2018. According to a poll by the Council of Independent Colleges, our endowment performance ranked 3rd out of 700 colleges and universities. We consider it a privilege, and a serious responsibility to nurture and protect your gifts wisely.
Endowed scholarships produce, grow, and endure. Like a protected oak or redwood, they last for future generations and provide resources of beauty to deserving students.
