Celebrate Sister Susan Rieke

On Nov. 17, the Kansas City Alumni Council will honor Sister Susan Rieke, C’66, at the Kansas City Alumni Council Fall Luncheon. All alumni, family, and friends are invited to the annual event at the Grand Street Café in Kansas City, Mo.

In 2017, Sr. Rieke retired after 37 years of teaching in the Saint Mary English Department, where she served as chair for 14 years. She is an American literature scholar and has published three books of poetry and numerous academic articles. Sr. Rieke’s mother and four sisters are also Saint Mary alumnae.

Social hour starts at 11 a.m. with lunch beginning at noon. Cost is $35 per person. Email alumni@stmary.edu to RSVP.
