Sr. Mary Denise Sternitzke, C’44, Leavenworth, Kan., died on Sept. 5. Sr. Mary Denise was a professor emerita at Saint Mary and the sibling of Sr. Mary Clarita Sternitzke, C’51, Denver, Colo.

Elizabeth Jean Noonan Sonday, C’45, Nixa, Mo., died on June 12.

Florence Higgins Giebler, C’45, Wakefield, R.I., died on July 29.

Justina Schappler Clements, A’46, Overland Park, Kan., died on May 7. Justina was the sibling of Sr. Martinette Schappler, A’57*.

Sr. Dominique Long, C’47, Leavenworth, Kan., died on Sept. 26.

Phyllis Hogenmiller Kvasnicka, C’49, Springfield, Va., died on May 6.

Eloise Rentchler Kipp, C’49, Olathe, Kan., lost her husband, Thomas Kipp, on June 7.

Mary Elizabeth “Rusty” Cooper Hall, C’49, Kansas City, Mo., died on Aug. 25. Rusty was the sister of Dorothy Cooper Davis, C’47*, and the aunt of Elizabeth “Sugar” Davis, C’73, and Jan Davis, C’79.

Sr. Susan Pryor, C’52, Leavenworth, Kan., died on May 10. Sr. Susan was the sibling of Janet Pryor, C’64, Gladstone, Mo., and Judy Pryor Bieberdorf, C’64, Mesa, Ariz.

Sr. Mary Virginita “Clarice” Hearing, C’52, Wichita, Kan., died on July 20.

Marjorie Fitzgerald McMullen, C’53, Redding, Calif., died on July 2.

Carmen Buxo Stewart, C’54, Temperance, Mich., died on Sept. 4, 2018.

Sr. Madonna Fink, C’54, Leavenworth, Kan., died on July 20.

Catherine Mohr Abram, C’55, Overland Park, Kan., lost her husband, Truman, on Nov. 16, 2018.

Cathleen Kennedy Reed, C’62, Soldier, Kan., died on June 8.

Ann Strecker, C’65, Topeka, Kan., lost her sister-in-law, Mary Ann, on Jan. 3, 2017. She shares this loss with her sister-in-law, Sr. Mary Elizabeth Strecker, A’50, C’54, Leavenworth, Kan.
