Evelyn Lucille Tebedo Harris, C’48, Littleton, Colo., died on April 24, 2022.
Sr. Peter Parry, A’49, Leavenworth, Kan., died on Sept. 21, 2022. She was a Sister of Charity of Leavenworth for 73 years.

Jean Kennedy Gose, C’53, Prairie Village, Kan., died on Jan. 20, 2021.
Sister Marcianna Trujillo, SCL, C’53, Leavenworth, Kan., died on Sept. 15, 2022.
Marilyn Stedem Swisher, C’55, Springfield, Mo., died on Sept. 25, 2022. She was the sister of DiAnne Stedem Naros, C’67, California, Mo.
Anita Hufnagel Eischen, C’56, El Reno, Okla., died on Dec. 2, 2022.
Fr. John Clement Maier, C’59, Leavenworth, Kan., died on Nov. 18, 2022.
Mary Rosalee McEntyre, C’59, Lancaster, Calif., died on Dec. 19, 2022.

Deanna Stetzner Cowley, C’61, Idaho Falls, Idaho, died on Sept. 1, 2022.
Sr. Marie Carmel Dunning, C’66, Leavenworth, Kan., died on Sept. 3, 2022.

Marcella Zerr, C’72, Kansas City, Mo., died on Oct. 29, 2022.
Mary Ann Heddish Durkin, C’74, Midlothian, Va., died on Nov. 28, 2022.
Linell Wenzel Grundman, C’74, Washington, D.C., died on Jan. 13, 2023. Linell was a member of the USM Board of Trustees.

Ellawee Hodges, C’87, Kansas City, Kan., died on Dec. 7, 2022.
’90s
Graham Wiles, C’96, Aurora, Colo., died on April 22, 2022. Graham was the husband of Julia (Adler) Wiles, C’98, Aurora, Colo.

Sydney L. Prine, U’21, Holton, Kan., died on Dec. 22, 2022.
Students
The Saint Mary community mourns the loss of senior Justin White, Jackson, Miss., who died in a car accident on Jan. 9, 2023. He was a sport management major and football player.
Friends of Saint Mary
Alleta Biggs, Prairie Village, Kan., died on Nov. 12, 2022. Alleta attended the University of Saint Mary.

Barbara Wewers Beatty, C’63, Kansas City, Kan., lost her husband, James Beatty, SCL Associate, on Sept. 28, 2022.
Susan Stonner Renner, C’66, Jefferson City, Mo., lost her husband, Jack, on Nov. 5, 2022. Jack was one of the Saint Mary Theatre Program’s starring males when it was a women’s college and he was at Fort Leavenworth.
DiAnne Stedem Naros, C’67, California, Mo., lost her sister, Marilyn Stedem Swisher, C’55, Springfield, Mo., on Sept. 25, 2022.
Angela Flythe Alexander, C’68, St. Louis, Mo., lost her sister, Margaret Flythe-White, C’69, also of St. Louis, Mo., on Oct. 31, 2021.
Anne Lueckenhoff Doerr, C’75, St. Louis, Mo., lost her husband, Dr. Lawrence Doerr, DDS, on March 12, 2022.
Marina Garcia O’Sullivan, C’75, Leawood, Kan., lost her mother on Aug. 19, 2022.
Christine Ramirez Prieto, C’84, Highlands Ranch, Colo., lost her father, George Ramirez, on Jan. 4, 2023. Christine’s daughter and George’s granddaughter, Ammon, is a student at USM.
Julia Adler Wiles, C’98, Aurora, Colo., lost her husband, Graham Wiles, C’96, Aurora, Colo., on April 22, 2022.
We are always saddened to hear about the passing of Saint Mary alumni and friends. This year especially, we had several families ask about making memorial contributions to USM.
